Jeanie Marie Buss, an American businesswoman. She is the controlling owner of the Los Angeles Lakers of the National Basketball Association and currently serves as its president. The California native, Buss was raised in an upper class family. Her father Jerry Buss was a real-estate tycoon, who was later the manager of the Lakers and other businesses related to sports. When her parents split in 1972 and she started to feel in a sense of being abandoned emotionally. When she was 19 years old, she was appointed the General Manager of Los Angeles Strings, a professional tennis team. Then she founded an organization called the Los Angeles Blades team of professional roller hockey. She was the President of Great Western Forum prior to becoming the vice-president of Lakers. Buss was the inheritor of Lakers ownership Lakers by her dad in the year 2013. The five siblings she had inherited it through a family estate trust. Buss was elected president of the Los Angeles Lakers. Buss owns Women of Wrestling in Los Angeles the organization which is a pro-wrestling organization.
