Winona-Ryder

Winona Ryder, professionally Winona Ryder, was born on Winona Minnesota. The parents of her daughter named her after her hometown. His father Michel Horowitz and her mother Cynthia Palmer were authors and editors. Ryder is a self-described Jewish, is descended from Ryder's Jewish father. The actress has a younger brother Uria and two half-siblings Jubal as well as Sunyata. Ryder's family moved from Mendocino County, California at the age of seven years old. They lived in a place without electricity. Ryder was a voracious reader and spent her time reading books as there was no television. Ryder began taking acting lessons in the American Conservatory Theatre in 1983 aged 12 years old. Ryder landed her first film role on the large screen in 1986 at the age of 15 older. Ryder was bullied in high school. Ryder hoped her career in acting would end this. Unfortunately, it didn't work out. But she continued to chase the dreams she had. Ryder made her breakthrough through Tim Burton's Beetlejuice in the year 1988. Ryder had a successful role in several films. In 1993, she received an Oscar Awards in the film The Age of Innocence.
